New international distinctions and recognition for Clerides, Anastassiou, Neophytou LLC
Clerides, Anastassiou, Neophytou LLC was once again included among the best Cypriot law firms in 2019 by the international rating agencies for law firms ‘LEGAL 500’ and ‘Chambers and Partners’, for its high-quality services, expertise, and know-how.
LEGAL 500 once again ranked the firm as one of the top law firms in Cyprus (Tier 1) in Commercial-Corporate Law, Mergers-Acquisitions and Tax Law. In its own evaluation, Chambers and Partners gave the firm honorary rankings in the Commercial-Corporate Law and Tax Law categories.
Effie Anastasiou, partner at the law firm and head of the corporate, commercial and M&A practice, and Stavros Clerides, head of tax services, were named “Leading Individuals” by LEGAL 500, who praised the two heads for the quality of services they offer to their clients, as well as their experience and professional background. Partner Effie Anastasiou was praised for providing “an exceptional service”. Partner Andri Stylianou also received an honorary mention and was described as one of the most important members of the team. LEGAL 500 reports that the firm stands out for its team members’ dedication and proactiveness, as well as their exceptional responsiveness to their clients’ needs. Chambers and Partners singled out Effie Anastasiou for her experience in assisting international and domestic clients with mergers and acquisitions, as well as private and venture capital investments. Stavros Clerides also received an honorary mention for his good commercial and tax understanding, effectiveness and understanding of the clients' needs.
The two international rating agencies base their evaluations on a large sample of independent research work and choose and evaluate the most established law firms globally by area of practice.
