High rankings by LEGAL 500 and Chambers & Partners
Clerides, Anastassiou, Neophytou LLC was once again included among the very best Cypriot law firms in 2021 by the international rating agencies for law firms ‘LEGAL 500’ and ‘Chambers and Partners’, for its high-quality services, expertise, and know-how.
LEGAL 500 ranked the firm as one of the top law firms in Cyprus (Tier 1) in Commercial-Corporate Law and Mergers-Acquisitions. Furthermore, Legal 500 ranked the firm in the top tier category for Tax Law (Tier 1). According to testimonials, the firm has “an excellent tax team” “among the very best in Cyprus having the ability and willingness to put extra resources behind a matter, if required”. The firm also received an honorary ranking by Chambers & Partners in the area of general business law.
Effie Anastasiou, partner at the law firm and head of the corporate, commercial and M&A practice, was once again named as “Leading Individual” along with Andri Stylianou as “Next Generation Partner” by LEGAL 500. Stavros Clerides received the highest recognition among lawyers in Cyprus and was named in the “Hall of Fame” in the area of Tax Law. He had received the same recognition also in 2020.

The two international rating agencies base their evaluations on a large sample of independent research work and choose and evaluate the most established law firms globally by area of practice on the basis of merit. Their evaluation and rankings result by way of obtaining feedback from peers and clients and evaluation of the law firms client transaction deals which are then independently assessed by the agencies researchers.
